How do I delete items from my plate?
To delete a food item or entry, locate the item you want to remove. Swiping your finger on that item will make a delete button appear, which you can tap to remove the item from your plate or log.
What if I can’t find the meal I’m looking for?
If the menu item or dish you’re searching for isn’t in the Calorie King database, you can add the nutrition information for each ingredient to your plate individually. Just select My Homemade Foods from the Foods tab to create a new dish and manually enter the nutrition information for that particular item. Then you can save the menu item or dish to your favorites for quickly adding it to your plate the next time you eat it.
I added an item under Others. How do I move it to a specific meal?
To move an item, select the Items button from Today’s Plate. Select the food item you would like to change to open the edit view, where you can change the meal in which you ate the item, number of servings, and more.
Will my entries and data be recorded by any entity?
While GoMeals stores data to better serve you with your plan, no personal data or identifying information is stored or shared with third-party entities.
Do I need Internet or Wi-Fi connection to use GoMeals?
Once the GoMeals application is downloaded to your iPhone or iPad, no Internet or Wi-Fi connection is required to search the food item database or track nutritional information. You do, however, need a connection in order to use the GoMeals Restaurant Locator.
On which mobile devices can I use GoMeals?
Currently, GoMeals is available on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Can I export my data?
It is not currently possible to export GoMeals data to another device. We are, however, continuously working to enhance the features offered through application updates. We welcome feedback and suggestions for future updates. Post your thoughts on Twitter at

Can I sync data between my iPhone and iPad?
Syncing is not currently available but we are working to include in the function in a future update.
Are multiple profiles available?
GoMeals is designed to support your personal healthy eating goals and does not currently allow for multiple users to have profiles within the app.
Does GoMeals work outside of the U.S.?
GoMeals is fully functional outside of the U.S., except the Restaurant Locator, which only contains US data and therefore cannot locate restaurants outside of the U.S.

How many items are in the GoMeals food database?
GoMeals contains nutrition information for 40,000 common and branded grocery items, in addition to 20,000 menu items for more than 200 major restaurant chains nationwide.
What nutritional information does GoMeals track?
GoMeals tracks carbohydrates, fats, protein, sodium, fiber, total fat, and saturated fat.
Are there any hidden costs or subscription fees to use GoMeals?
No, the application, its database and all of its components are free via iTunes.
Is GoMeals only for people with diabetes?
GoMeals was developed to help people with diabetes make smart food decisions for improved blood sugar levels, but anyone who is monitoring and managing their nutrition is welcome to use the valuable tool.
Do you have information on all restaurants?
